The Afghanistan Freedom Front reported that an attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Tagab district of Kapisa province resulted in the deaths of three Taliban members and wounded two others.
Simultaneously, the Afghanistan United Front claimed responsibility for killing a Taliban police officer in District 15 of Kandahar city, releasing video footage associated with the targeted shooting incident.
Taliban officials have not yet commented on either attack, and independent sources have not independently verified the claims made by the anti-Taliban resistance groups.
