This page explains how to ask Zarin TV LLC to delete information connected to your use of:

  • our website, zarintv.com (including live.zarintv.com);
  • the Zarin TV apps, including the Zarin TV channel on Roku and the Zarin TV iPhone app;
  • the Zarin TV Meta (Facebook/Instagram) integration, which we use to manage and publish to Zarin TV’s Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts.

What we might hold about you

  • Apps: nothing that identifies you. Our Apps have no accounts, sign-in or registration, and the Roku channel has no ads, analytics or tracking tools. Our streaming provider, BozzTV, sees your IP address and device or player information in its normal server logs when you watch, and keeps those logs under its own policies.
  • Live player video ads: on our Website and inside our iPhone app, the live player may show video ads from Playmatic and from Google (through Ad.Plus). These ad partners may collect device and usage data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store this data.
  • Website: any emails, contact form messages or comments (if comments are enabled) you have sent us. Cookies set by our cookie consent tool and our advertising partners are stored in your own browser.
  • Facebook and Instagram: public comments and reactions on our posts, the public name and profile picture of the people who post them, and messages sent to our Pages or accounts, received through the Meta integration.

How to ask us to delete your data

Send an email to [email protected] with:

  • Subject: Data deletion request
  • Which service you used: our website, a Zarin TV app (tell us which device), Facebook or Instagram (tell us which Zarin TV Page or account).
  • What we should search for: for example, the email address you wrote from, the name you used on a comment, or your Facebook or Instagram profile name or link.
  • What you want deleted: everything we hold about you, or only specific items.

Please do not send ID documents or other sensitive information.

This process covers information we received through the Zarin TV Meta integration. There is no need to use a separate form.

What happens next

  1. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days.
  2. We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you, for example by replying from the same email address or by messaging us from the same Facebook or Instagram account.
  3. We will complete your request within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.
  4. If we must keep anything (for example, because the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud), we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
  5. We keep a short record of your request (your contact details, what we deleted and when) for up to 24 months, so we can show that we completed it.

Things you can delete yourself

  • Website cookies: use our cookie consent tool (the cookie banner or the “Manage consent” link on zarintv.com), or clear the cookies for zarintv.com in your browser settings.
  • Advertising preferences: Google My Ad Center (https://myadcenter.google.com/), the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org/) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info/).
  • Apps: uninstall the App. This removes any settings it saved on your device. You can also limit ad tracking or reset your device’s advertising identifier:
    • iPhone and iPad: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
    • Android and Google TV: Settings > Privacy > Ads
    • Roku: Settings > Privacy > Advertising
    • Fire TV: Settings > Preferences > Privacy Settings
  • Facebook and Instagram: you can delete your own comments and messages directly on Facebook or Instagram at any time.

Data held by other companies

Roku, Apple, Google, Amazon, Meta, our streaming provider and our advertising partners are separate companies. They hold their own data about your device and activity under their own privacy policies, and we cannot delete it for them. Use their privacy settings or contact them directly. Links to their privacy policies are in section 6 of our Privacy Policy. If you are not sure who to contact, email us and we will point you in the right direction.
