Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, appearing recently on The Great Indian Kapil Show with his wife Kareena Kapoor, humorously recounted his decades-long experience of attending parent-teacher association (PTA) meetings for his children.
The actor quipped that his life has come full circle, from being a young father attending school meetings to now, at 55, still participating in the same gatherings. Saif explained that all four of his children have studied at the same school at different stages of their lives.
When asked who attends the PTA meetings, him or Kareena, the *Dil Chahta Hai* star said, “First of all, I have four children in that school. At different ages. When I was 20 years old, I had my first PTA meeting. Then I was 30 years old. I am still standing in the same school at 55. And now… The teachers there have changed. I am still the same."
Saif Ali Khan's remarks were met with laughter and applause from the audience. He is well-known in the film industry for his sense of humor, wit, and charm.
Saif shares his two older children, Sara Ali Khan and Iahim Ali Khan, with his first wife, actor Amrita Singh. He married the 27-year-old actor in 1991 when he was 21, and they separated in 2004 after 13 years of marriage.
Saif later married Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012, and they have two sons together, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. His family life has consistently been a topic of interest for the media and his fans.
