Following Iran’s missile and drone attack against the Jaish al-Adl group in Pakistan and increasing tension between the two countries, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian had a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Jalil Abbas Jilani. In this conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran called the security of Pakistan the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and clarified: the movement known as Jaish al-Adl is a terrorist group that acts against the common security of the two countries. Amir Abdullahian has emphasized that Iran respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan. He said: We are strongly interested in the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan. He pointed out that Iran’s security has been threatened many times by this Iranian terrorist group from Pakistan, and this group has repeatedly taken responsibility for terrorist acts in Iran. Islamic Iran was against this Iranian terrorist group and no Pakistani citizens were attacked in this operation.
