Afghanistan National Cricket Team to Face Oman Today
The Afghanistan National Cricket Team is set to face Oman today, Wednesday, May 29, in a preparatory match. The game will take place at the Queens Park Oval cricket stadium in Trinidad and Tobago, with the first ball being bowled at 9:30 AM Kabul time.
Afghanistan will also play against the Scotland National Cricket Team in their second warm-up match on Friday, May 31. These games are part of Afghanistan’s preparations for the upcoming 20-over Cricket World Cup.
In the World Cup, Afghanistan has been placed in Group C alongside New Zealand, West Indies, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda. Afghanistan’s first match in the tournament will be against Uganda on June 4 at 5:00 AM Kabul time.
