Chief of Staff of Pakistan Army: The life of a Pakistani is “more important” than the whole of Afghanistan
General Asim Munir, the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army, has warned the Taliban that the life of a Pakistani is “more important” than the whole of Afghanistan. The Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army has said among the students of the public and private universities of this country that when it comes to the security of Pakistanis, no one will be respected. He also warned the Taliban: “Don’t look at Pakistan, we are ready to sacrifice everything.” Asim said in a sharp tone that when it comes to the safety and security of individual Pakistanis, the whole of Afghanistan can be “damned”. This Pakistani army official has warned: “Pakistan has provided food for five million Afghan citizens for 50 years; “But when it comes to our children, we will pursue those who attack them.”He accused the Taliban of supporting insurgents in Balochistan for a long time and added that the western neighbor has never shown friendship towards Pakistan. These statements have been made while the relations between the Taliban and Pakistan have become more tense than ever before.
