British Foreign Secretary: Negotiations on a pause in the Gaza war have progressed

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said in a statement that progress has been made towards stopping the war in the Gaza Strip, providing aid to the people of the strip and freeing the hostages.

Cameron pointed out that Israel is responsible for what is happening in Gaza and said that Tel Aviv should avoid escalating the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

Cameron said London wants Israel to stop fighting to free the hostages. The British Foreign Minister went on to point out that Hamas should leave Gaza to create an opportunity for a two-state solution, and said that South Africa’s appeal to the International Court of Justice will not help end the war in Gaza.
