The head of the Munchen Security Conference says that the possibility of Russia’s attack on a NATO member country cannot be ruled out.
When asked if Russian President Vladimir Putin would order such an attack, Christoph Hausgen said:
“Of course, Putin has repeatedly said that the collapse of the former Soviet Union was the greatest tragedy of the 20th century, because it led to the wandering of many Russians abroad.
According to Husgen, Putin’s goal is to create a Greater Russia and an international empire beyond the borders of the former Soviet Union, and if he fails in Ukraine, he may attack Moldova or the Baltic states.
These statements were made while the world leaders and defense experts are going to meet again from February 16 to 18 at the Moonshan Security Conference.
