NDTV, citing the Mumbai Police, reported that this 37-year-old Afghan man has been living in India without documents since 17 years.
In the statement of the Mumbai city police, it is said: “This man was arrested from Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Nagar area located in Wadala based on the information of a team from the five unit of the crime department.”
According to police officials, this Afghan man used a pseudonym and his residence documents were also fake.
According to police information, this Afghan man introduced himself as “Ali Khan” during interrogation.
Ali Khan presented his PAN identity card and driver’s license when he was arrested.
