The reopening of the Eiffel Tower after being closed for six days due to the strike of its workers

Following a six-day strike by a number of Eiffel Tower workers due to poor financial management, the tower has been reopened to visitors.

The French media have reported that the negotiations to increase the wages of the workers have started with the officials and it is expected that this issue will be finalized within the next month.

According to the report, after the promise to allocate 380 million euros of capital until 2031 for the renovation of this tower, the necessary agreement has been reached with the labor unions.

At the same time, the workers emphasize that the authorities should raise their salaries at the same time as increasing the income from the sale of tekt.

The Eiffel Tower annually hosts seven million tourists, 75% of whom are foreigners.
