The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice recognized the Syed Ishaq Gilani township in Surkh Rod district of Nangarhar province as state property and confiscated its land.
The ministry announced that the specialized court for land cases, after reviewing documents and evidence, determined that all lands of this township, totaling 5,640 jeribs, belong to the state.
This action was taken as part of the Taliban group’s fight against usurpation of state lands.
