An unprecedented outbreak of a type of skin disease in Bamyan
Local sources in Bamyan say that an unknown type of skin disease has spread among adults and children in an unprecedented manner in this province.
Sources say that this disease has spread in the center of Bamyan and some districts of this province.
This disease first appears in the form of small seeds and after two days, it grows rapidly and covers and itches different parts of the body.
Redness, itching and persistent pain are the symptoms of this disease.
One of the doctors of the provincial hospital of Bamyan, who did not want to be named, says that this is a type of disease called “chicken pox” that has spread in all districts and the center of this province.
He stated: “Unfortunately, Bamiyan public health does not have any measures to treat such diseases.”
According to his statements, this type of disease has no treatment in Afghanistan and its vaccine is not available in the country.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Public Health of the Taliban has not yet expressed an opinion on this matter.
