Limiting the transfer of personal information of American citizens to some countries by Biden

US President Joe Biden issued an executive order limiting the transfer of personal information of American citizens to countries including China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela.

Based on this decree, the transfer of financial, health, biometric and location information of Americans to the countries concerned by Washington is limited.

The Chinese companies “BGI” and “Waxy APPTAC” which are active in the field of “genes” are also targeted by this order.

The American Congress is also planning to prohibit the federal institutions of this country from sharing the genetic and health information of American citizens with these two companies.

However, the Chinese company BGI says that it does not collect the information of American patients and still does not have access to the genetic and personal details of people.
