Changing some laws related to corona disease in America
Officials in the United States said that Americans who test positive for Covid-19 no longer need to stay in quarantine for 5 days.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States changed its previous rules in this area and announced that people can test positive for Covid-19 if their symptoms are mild or they only have a cold for a day. They can go to work or continue their affairs regularly.
This change comes at a time when Covid-19 is no longer the threat to public health that it once was.
Covid-19 used to be the third leading cause of death in the United States, but now ranks tenth.
