Increase in casualties of the recent suicide attack in Kandahar
A senior Taliban official in Kandahar province confirmed that 45 people were killed and 56 others were injured following a recent suicide attack in this area.
According to the report of 8 Sobh newspaper, which got access to this list, among the victims of the attack, two of the Taliban officials who were the main officials of Mianshin district also died.
Mullah Sharafuddin Taghi, the commander of the 215th Taliban Army Corps, has asked the Ministry of Defense of this group to transfer the bodies of these two commanders to Mianshin district by helicopter.
Most of the victims of this attack were members of the Taliban, but some civilians were also injured and killed. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack and claimed that the attacker detonated his suicide belt in a crowd of around 150 Taliban members.
This attack has also resulted in the reaction of neighboring countries, including Pakistan.
