The Prime Minister of Israel complains to the US for this country’s abstention in the resolution of the cease-fire in Gaza

In a meeting with US Senator Rick Scott, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the country’s vote in the UN Security Council to approve the ceasefire resolution in Gaza was “very bad”.

In this meeting, Netanyahu announced that as a message to Hamas, he canceled the trip of the Israeli delegation to Washington. The delegation was supposed to travel to Washington to discuss concerns about Israel’s attack on Rafah.

Netanyahu added: “The approval of this resolution can make Hamas adopt tough positions and believe that international pressure can create obstacles for the release of hostages and the destruction of Hamas.

Therefore, my decision not to send a delegation to Washington after the approval of that resolution in the first place It was a message to Hamas that it will not support this pressure.

“Meanwhile, on Monday last week, the United Nations Security Council approved a resolution to establish an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, and the US vote was negative in this regard.
