Former President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, emphasized the importance of education and knowledge for the progress and development of the country in a message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
He stated that without education, development is not possible and called for the reopening of schools and universities for girls. Karzai also called upon the Islamic Emirate to facilitate the return of women to the workforce.
He urged traders and investors to create job opportunities by investing in various sectors to alleviate Afghanistan’s economic constraints.
Additionally, Karzai appealed to the international community to assist Afghanistan in upgrading educational structures and ensuring greater access to education for all Afghans.
He stressed the importance of supporting Afghan youth and believed that they could pave the way for the progress and development of their country through education and knowledge.
