The Ministry of Natural Disaster Management of the Taliban government says that at least 33 people have lost their lives due to the flood in the last three days. Most of the victims were in Kandahar.

Abdullah Jan Saiq, the spokesman of the ministry, said at a press conference in Kabul today that according to the initial reports of local authorities, “about 606 rural houses, more than 1,950 acres of agricultural land, about 85 kilometers of roads were destroyed, and about 200 livestock were also destroyed.”
