Forced marriage of a prisoner’s daughter with a member of the Taliban group

The Taliban court in Parwan forced a 25-year-old prisoner named Shahpari to marry a member of this group named Reyhan. Shahperi was arrested six months ago by the Taliban on charges of kidnapping and sentenced to three years in prison. But the judge of the Taliban city court forced him to marry Reyhan. According to Shah Pari’s family, Rihan, who works for the Taliban’s local media in Parwan, locked Shah Pari in a house in Ghorband Valley after her forced marriage. During this time, Shahpari has called his family several times and asked for rescue. Shahperi’s relatives have complained to the Taliban courts in Parwan, but the Taliban has not given any information about this issue.
