The withdrawal of Israeli forces from Jabaliyah after weeks of intense fighting
After more than two weeks of fierce fighting and more than 200 airstrikes, the Israeli forces have finally finished their operations in the Jabaliya area, located in the north of the Gaza Strip, and have withdrawn from this area. The Israeli army announced in a statement that during this operation, the bodies of seven of the 250 hostages of the Hamas group were found.
Despite the end of the operation in Jabaliyah, the Israeli army emphasized that it is preparing its military forces for other operations in the Gaza Strip. Currently, the focus of the operation is on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, which is known as the last stronghold of Hamas. Israeli forces have recently managed to discover hideouts of rocket launchers, other weapons, as well as tunnel wells related to this group in the center of Rafah.
According to the statistics of the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 36,284 Palestinians have lost their lives since the beginning of Israel’s operation in this area, and many parts of this densely populated area have been destroyed. Despite widespread international pressure and criticism, Israel still refuses to stop its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
