NATO Secretary General rejected Putin’s warnings about escalating tensions if Ukraine invades Russian territoryNATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg rejected Vladimir Putin’s warnings at the NATO foreign ministers’ meeting in Prague that Ukraine’s attack on Russian territory with Western weapons could lead to an escalation of tensions. Stoltenberg said NATO has repeatedly heard such warnings, and Russia has escalated the conflict by attacking another country.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has agreed to Ukraine’s use of US weapons to attack Russian territory. Some NATO allies, such as Germany and France, have also supported Ukraine’s right to defend itself without geographic restrictions, but Italy has banned the use of donated weapons outside of Ukraine.
