Afghanistan Cricket Team Ready for Twenty20 World Cup
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced that the national cricket team is fully prepared for the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup.
Syed Naseem Sadat, the spokesperson for the ACB, spoke to Radio Azadi on the evening of June 1st, stating, “Our team has achieved excellent overall readiness. We hope and expect that, God willing, they will deliver outstanding performances in the official matches of the 2024 Twenty20 World Cup.”
According to Mr. Sadat, the Afghanistan national cricket team has been diligently training, and prior to their departure for the West Indies, several Afghan players have gained valuable experience by participating in the Indian Premier League and the “Ghosh Tepa” National 20-Over Cup in Kabul.
