Eight Armed Individuals Killed in Drone Strike in Gomal District of Paktika
According to local sources in Paktika, a vehicle carrying armed individuals was targeted by a drone in the Gomal district of the province. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, June 3, in the Tarkha area of Gomal district.
Sources confirmed to the 8 Sobh newspaper that eight armed individuals were killed in the attack. The identities of the victims have not yet been determined, and the Taliban have not commented on the matter so far.
It is also unclear which country the drone belonged to. Previously, members of the Pakistani Taliban movement have been targeted by Pakistani military airstrikes in similar incidents in the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
