In the Eid message attributed to Hebatullah Akhundzadeh, the leader of the Taliban, which was published on Thursday, it is claimed that with the rule of the “Islamic Emirate”, the Shariah rights of all citizens have been secured and protected.
Meanwhile, this message was broadcasted at the same time as the 1,000th day of closure of girls’ schools in Afghanistan, and there is no mention of restarting the education of girls above sixth grade and universities.
It has been 1,000 days since the Taliban Ministry of Education prevented girls from returning to school on 3 March 1401. Despite the Taliban officials’ promises that this decision is temporary, the girls’ protests and international condemnations, the situation has not changed.
In the Eid message of the Taliban leader, he also condemned Israel’s attacks on Gaza and demanded the action of the world countries against these attacks.
Akhundzadeh demanded political and economic relations from Islamic countries within the framework of “Sharia” and emphasized the performance of Taliban courts in “enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil”.
