Amir Hamza, the former commander of Pakistan’s Emergency Services Academy 1122, was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants on Tuesday in the Lilly Interchange area of Punjab province. According to reports, the attackers fled the scene after firing at Amir Hamza.

Prior to his retirement, Amir Hamza headed the Emergency Services Academy 1122.
