Early Voting Begins in New York, Indiana, and Other States
Early voting for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election has commenced in several key states across the nation. Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia have opened their polling stations for voters to cast their ballots.
Among these states, New York holds significant electoral importance with 28 electoral votes, making it a crucial battleground in the upcoming election. In contrast, Maine carries the smallest electoral weight with four electoral votes.
Vermont had previously initiated its early voting process, marking the beginning of what promises to be a consequential election season leading up to November 5, 2024 (15 Aqrab 1403).
