Israel Strikes Houthi Positions in Yemen Following Rocket Attacks
The Israeli military announced that it has targeted various regions in Yemen in response to rocket and drone attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. These strikes were conducted early this morning on Houthi-controlled areas from which military operations were being launched.
According to Yemeni media reports, the capital Sanaa and the port city of Hodeidah were subjected to extensive strikes. These attacks came after the Israeli military intercepted a missile launched by the Houthis before it could enter Israeli territory.
The casualty details from these strikes remain unclear, and the Yemeni Houthis have not yet claimed responsibility for the rocket and drone attacks on Israel.
