The extraordinary meeting of the Tajik Political Council titled “Looking at the Past and a Perspective on Future Horizons” was held on May 24, 2025, in the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands. This hybrid meeting (in-person and online) began at 4 PM local time and continued with the participation of influential Afghan political and social figures.
During this event, participants analyzed the regional situation and introduced an alternative plan to replace the Taliban group’s regime. This plan, designed based on international governance standards, will be completed with more details in the next phases and serve as a platform for forces committed to the people.
Personalities such as Najibullah Masir, Head of the Tajik Political Coordination Council; Dr. Wahidullah, President of the Irania Association; Ms. Negara Mirad, Head of the Tajik Council; and Fawzia Koofi, former Afghan Parliament member, delivered speeches at this meeting. The organizers emphasized that creating a political, inclusive, and legitimate alternative for Afghanistan requires extensive cooperation between committed forces and national elites.
