Abdul Matin Qane, spokesman for the Taliban’s Interior Ministry, stated that no country can claim Afghan soil has been used against them.

Instead, he claimed that the Taliban could argue they have been “harmed” by citizens of neighboring countries, though he did not specifically name these nations.

Referring to terrorist incidents, Qane said investigations show citizens of Pakistan and Tajikistan have been involved in these events. He also claimed that all opposition groups in Afghanistan have now been “contained,” an assertion that contradicts ongoing attacks by the Resistance Front and Liberation Front in various parts of the country.

The Taliban official vaguely pointed to regional countries, asking where attacks in Afghanistan, Turkey, and Russia originated from. Although Qane did not directly name any country, his remarks appeared primarily directed at Pakistan – a nation that has consistently accused the Taliban of harboring anti-Pakistan groups, while itself facing similar allegations from India and other countries.
