India’s Thrilling Victory and Pakistani Cricketer’s Controversial Claim

پیروزی هیجان انگیز هند و ادعای جنجالی کریکت باز پاکستانی: هند از واسلین استفاده کرده است

Former Pakistan cricketer Shabbir Ahmed Khan made a controversial claim following India’s nail-biting six-run victory over England in the fifth match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at The Oval.

He alleged that the Indian team might have tampered with the ball by applying Vaseline, noting that the ball appeared shiny despite being in use for over 80 overs.

On the final day, India needed four wickets while Jamie Smith and Jamie Overton were batting for England. Mohammed Siraj dismissed Smith with a sharp outswinger and then trapped Overton lbw.

Despite having access to a new ball, India chose to continue with the old one that was swinging effectively, raising suspicions from the former Pakistani player.

The moment of glory came when Siraj returned to bowl the 86th over and delivered a perfect yorker to Atkinson, uprooting the stumps and securing a stunning six-run win for India.

This victory leveled the five-match series at 2-2.

Siraj was named Player of the Match for his remarkable nine-wicket haul and finished as the leading wicket-taker of the series with 23 wickets.
