Bhagyashree, who rose to fame with her Bollywood debut “Maine Pyar Kiya,” revealed in a recent interview with Doordarshan Sahyadri that she once worked with a real-life criminal.

“In one Telugu film, I worked with a real criminal, and I was very scared during the shoot,” she shared. The person in question was reportedly accused of more than 20 murders, making the experience particularly intimidating for the actress.

Elaborating on this unique experience, Bhagyashree explained, “After taking permission from the government, these criminals were brought out of jail for the film’s shooting.

The story of the film was inspired by the personal lives of the criminals”

. She mentioned that her character was that of a journalist who meets these criminals and wanted to communicate that not everyone who becomes a criminal is born that way; circumstances can shape a person.

Despite making history with her successful debut film, Bhagyashree has been away from acting for a long time now. In the interview, she discussed various roles she has portrayed throughout her career and the different people she has worked with in the industry, highlighting this particularly unusual collaboration as one of her most memorable professional experiences.
