Bollywood star Malaika Arora opened up about online harassment in a candid interview with Pinkvilla.
She revealed that being called “buddhi” (old woman) by internet critics sometimes triggers her, describing such behavior as “extremely insensitive.
” Malaika stated: “How can you even say something like that to somebody? Sometimes it triggers me because it’s extremely insensitive.”
She also spoke about her son Arhaan Khan’s support, calling him one of her biggest supporters.
Arhaan always tells his mother: “What’s the big deal mom, if somebody’s saying that it’s fine.
Why are you letting it affect you or upset you?” Malaika believes such situations provide an opportunity to respond positively and prove that she “can be better and could probably do anything and everything under the sun.”
Malaika Arora has long been the target of toxic online trolling about her fashion choices and relationships.
Recently, she appeared as a judge on the second season of the dance reality show “Hip Hop India” alongside Remo D’Souza.
The show, which streamed on Amazon MX Player, concluded in June 2025 with Shubhankar emerging as the winner.
