NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang predicts that artificial intelligence could pave the way for four-day work weeks.
Speaking on Fox Business Network, Huang stated we are “at the beginning of the AI revolution,” comparing this shift to earlier industrial revolutions that transformed societies permanently.
Huang believes “every industrial revolution leads to some change in social behavior,” with shorter work weeks being one potential outcome.
However, he doesn’t expect this will make us less busy, predicting higher productivity will create new opportunities and more ambitious goals.
Recent trials in the UK, US, and Canada support this vision, showing workers can maintain the same output in 33-34 hours with productivity rising up to 24%.
Meanwhile, NVIDIA continues reporting record growth with data centers preparing for an estimated $3-4 trillion investment in AI infrastructure this decade
