Residents of Camp Sakhi neighborhood in Mazar-i-Sharif city protested against what they call “seizure of their lands.
” The protesters claim that a group of returned migrant families, with Taliban support, are attempting to take their properties.
According to protesters, these families have been settled in the neighboring Omar Faroq township but are now claiming ownership of Camp Sakhi lands without providing valid documents.
The protesters stated they have owned these lands since the 1990s and have presented official documents.
The protesters emphasized that local Taliban authorities’ indifference to their complaints forced them to stage protests, and despite approaching officials, their case has remained unresolved.
