Informed sources in Nahrin district of Baghlan reported that the Taliban group attacked National Resistance Front positions in the Kahgadai area on Tuesday night.
The clash began around 9 PM and gunfire continued for nearly an hour.
No precise casualty figures from this potential confrontation are available yet, and the Resistance Front has not officially confirmed the attack or any losses in the area.
The Kahgadai region is considered one of the main strongholds of Resistance Front forces.
Previously, on June 28th last year, two Resistance Front commanders named Abdul Samad Kahgadai and Khairullah were killed in clashes with the Taliban in this same area .
This region has consistently been the scene of repeated confrontations between the two sides.
