Ahmad Massoud, leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, issued a message offering condolences to families of victims from the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.

He emphasized the necessity of collective cooperation to help those affected, expressing deep sorrow and solidarity with the grieving people of his country.


Massoud added that during these difficult days, he shares in the grief of his fellow countrymen and they have done whatever was within their capacity through communication with local people.

The National Resistance Front leader stressed that today’s great needs can only be met through solidarity and collective cooperation.


He called upon all Afghans inside and outside the country to take action to help victims of this disaster.

The earthquake has killed more than 812 people and injured over 2,800 others in eastern Afghanistan.
