Hollywood horror film “The Conjuring: Last Rites” shattered global box office records by earning ₹1650 crore worldwide in just four days The ninth installment in the Conjuring Universe franchise also dominated India’s box office with ₹55.65 crore, leaving behind competitors like “Baaghi 4” and “Ghaati” significantly behind.
Directed by Michael Chaves, the film earned approximately ₹5.15 crore in India on its fourth day, showing a 66.77% drop from Sunday’s ₹15.5 crore collection.
Despite the Monday decline, it remains the biggest Hollywood opener of 2025. The film was released in multiple language versions including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu across Indian theaters.
The horror sequel’s phenomenal performance demonstrates the continued popularity of the Conjuring franchise globally, with its India earnings alone surpassing several Bollywood and regional films released simultaneously on September 5th, 2025.
