The Freedom Front announced that it conducted a rocket attack on Thursday night, September 24th, against a Taliban group base in Khwaja Bahauddin district of Takhar province in northeastern Afghanistan.
The base was located at the house of commander Abdul Malik Tatar.
The attack resulted in the death of two Taliban members, while the number of wounded remains unclear.
The Freedom Front stated that none of their forces were harmed during the operation.
The Taliban group typically does not comment on attacks by the Freedom Front and National Resistance Front.
These two fronts, which include former Afghan government military personnel, emphasize continued military activities against the Taliban group.
