American university professor Najibullah Azad claims that based on an agreement between the US and Taliban group, Bagram Air Base has been handed over to America.
The US 7th Special Forces Group has departed from Eglin Air Base heading toward Bagram for deployment.
He states that approximately 1,400 American forces are en route to Bagram for positioning.
America urgently needs this strategic airbase for potential Iran-Israel conflict and to maintain its intelligence-military presence in the region through reconstruction efforts.
However, reports indicate that such claims about Taliban ceding Bagram Air Base to the US are unfounded.
The Taliban group has rejected previous US bids to retake the base and the terms of any alleged agreement remain unclear and unverified.
