Qari Eisa Mohammadi posted a photo of Fawzia Koofi, Afghan women’s rights activist, on his X account, accusing her of espionage and servitude.
He claimed that Koofi had even worn Pakistan’s flag as clothing, showing her alleged loyalty to foreign powers.
Najiba Faiz responded to these accusations by defending Fawzia Koofi, stating that propaganda against her indicates she is on the right path.
Faiz quoted former President Hamid Karzai, comparing Koofi to an elephant whose heavy steps shake the ground and make street dogs bark.
Qari Eisa replied to Najiba Faiz, suggesting that both Fawzia and Najiba “drink from the same spring in Islamabad,” implying their shared connections to Pakistan and escalating the online controversy further.
