Sources from Badakhshan told Amo that a cave dating back to the Zoroastrian period has been discovered in this province.
This cave is located in Khash district of Badakhshan and was discovered by local residents.
Sources added that local residents discovered this cave after excavating an earthen mound in this district.
The cave has been sampled for further research.
The Taliban group and their local officials in the Information and Culture Department of Badakhshan have not yet made any official statement in this regard.
Badakhshan province is located in northeastern Afghanistan and its center is Faizabad city Badakhshan
