The Pakistan branch of ISIS has rejected recent claims by Taliban-affiliated media in a statement.
The group stated that two of its members, whose deaths were reported by Taliban media, were actually killed earlier in February in Balochistan.
The Al-Marsad media outlet, linked to Taliban intelligence, had previously reported that Hassan, a prominent ISIS Khorasan commander, was killed by unknown individuals in Karachi, Pakistan.
ISIS Pakistan explained that Hassan and Asim were killed in February during clashes with Baloch separatist militants in the Mastung area of Balochistan.
The group also claimed that Baloch paramilitary groups and Afghan Taliban forces have operational relationships in the Mastung and Zahri areas of Balochistan.
ISIS Pakistan has declared its hostility toward both the Pakistani and Taliban governments, accusing them of spreading false information about its activities.
