The National Resistance Front welcomed the statement by special representatives of the US and Western countries regarding inclusive government in Afghanistan but called for practical actions beyond statements.
Ali Maisam Nazary, the front’s foreign relations chief, said terrorism problems and other crises in Afghanistan require concrete solutions.
Special representatives from the US, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey and the European Union emphasized establishing an inclusive government in Afghanistan during a London meeting.
They expressed concern about terrorism threats from Afghan soil and deemed the ban on education and work for women a clear violation of fundamental rights of Afghan people.
Nazary said Afghanistan has become a center for regional and global terrorist groups’ growth.
He added that continued Taliban rule will only increase refugee flows to the region and West, and the only sustainable solution is eradicating the root cause of this crisis rather than merely engaging with it.
