Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Taliban group, traveled to China yesterday evening to participate in the 11th International Congress of the World Free Zones Organization, following an official invitation from the organization’s officials
The congress, running from October 10-12, 2025, in Hainan Province, China, is themed “Gateways to Global Prosperity, Sustainable Trade and Innovation” The Taliban’s Industry and Commerce Minister will participate in the congress and hold bilateral meetings with participating ministers.
This trip is part of the Taliban’s efforts to expand trade and economic relations with regional countries, particularly China, as they seek greater international economic engagement.
