Shah Rukh Khan accepted the Cine Icon Award on behalf of legendary actor Dilip Kumar at the 70th Filmfare Awards.
Saira Banu, Dilip Kumar’s wife, specially requested SRK to receive this honor as she couldn’t attend the ceremony.
During his emotional speech, Shah Rukh recalled his first meeting with the legendary couple.
He shared how Dilip Kumar placed his hand on his head and told Saira, “If we had a son, he would have been like this” This blessing became a guiding force throughout SRK’s career.
