Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif admitted on Monday, October 13th, that Pakistan itself created and nurtured the Taliban group, but now this group has become an unreliable force.
He emphasized that Islamabad does not want to enter into war, but will not give a soft response to hostility.
The Pakistani Defense Minister said that whenever an attack has occurred from Afghanistan, they have pursued the attackers to their homes.
He added that the current dispute between Kabul and Islamabad can only be resolved through mediation by countries such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Asif also stated that the situation on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border remains tense and hostilities could resume at any moment.
He emphasized that the world knows that a collection of international terrorist groups exist in Afghanistan, all of which are under Kabul’s umbrella.
