Continuing the intensification of arrests and forced deportations of migrants from Pakistan, Pakistani police have also arrested Javed Qureshi, an Afghan journalist.
Mr. Qureshi said in an audio recording after his arrest by police that Pakistani police arrested him from the Attock city area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
This comes as Pakistani police have intensified the process of arresting and forcibly deporting Afghan migrants following eight days of border clashes between the Taliban group and Pakistani forces.
Recently, Pakistani police arrested Mohammad Agha Silani, an Afghan journalist, in Faisal Town, Islamabad, and released him again after one night.
Pakistani police have not yet said anything about the reason for arresting these Afghan journalists.
Reporters Without Borders has announced that currently, more than 100 Afghan journalists are at risk of forced deportation from Pakistan.
