The Afghan girls’ robotics team, who fled the country and now live outside Afghanistan, participated in the international “First Global” competition held in Panama.
These teenage girls from three different countries came together to represent Afghanistan in these competitions.
Team officials announced on October 31st that these girls successfully participated in the competitions despite existing challenges. 
The Afghan girls’ robotics team had previously won a silver medal in the previous edition of these competitions.
The First Global competitions are held at a high level with representatives from countries and prestigious universities worldwide participating. 
These competitions inspire more than 2 billion young people globally who are active in science, technology, mathematics, and engineering fields.
