He met with Abdul Shakoor Haqqani, acting ambassador of the Taliban group in Kyrgyzstan, to discuss regional security situation and political, economic, and cultural relations.
Beijing wants to strengthen its relations and cooperation with the Taliban group in various fields.
Haqqani also appreciated China’s positive approach and assured that the Taliban will continue their efforts for regional stability and joint cooperation with China.
Experts believe that China has extensive economic plans for the region and must ensure the security and stability of its projects for their implementation.
China has previously accepted Taliban diplomats as ambassadors and established close relations with this group.
