The United States has submitted a draft resolution to the UN Security Council proposing an international force to secure Gaza until the end of 2027.

This force would handle border security, train Palestinian police, and disarm militant groups in the territory.

According to Axios reports, the international force comprising the US and participating countries would coordinate with Gaza’s peace committee under Trump’s leadership. Countries including Indonesia, UAE, Egypt, Qatar, and Azerbaijan are expected to participate in forming this force.

Netanyahu opposes foreign force deployment, emphasizing that Israel’s security will remain under the Israeli military’s control. He particularly objects to Turkish forces’ presence in Gaza, stating Israel will determine which international forces can enter the strip.
